'08 Z4 3.0si Lease program. Can I do better?
Hi,
This is the first time I am leasing a car and I am almost come to my end in getting my Z4 3.0si but wanted to see if this deal was great or could do better? I figure they want to wrap everything by tomorrow June 30th so they close their quarter and I may be able to negotiate further. I also figure I would go with 12k miles.
Any help on reducing the money factor or anything else to lower the monthly payment would be appreciated.

I think I answered this question the BMW message boards.
You can do about $800-1000 better on the negotiated price. And if you are a currently BMW financial services customer, they will waive the security deposit.
I just leased this car in April 2008.
My payments are closer to $300 than $380.
My security deposit was waived and they didn't add 6% to my payment for tax. I paid my taxes up front. Total out of pocket at delivery was $4900

This surface cannot be restored by rubbing irrespective of the fact if you rub some kind of oil, your expectation of getting back that finish of the painted black cannot be recovered. It is important to note that what work in the baseball glove will not work out well for the seats in your car.
The best thing that you can do with the automotive leather upholstery is actually to keep it clean. When the leather gets dirty do remember that the dirt is the small particles that are collected on the surface, do remember that every time when you open the car door and slide inside the car, your backside is grinding those tiny dirt particles into the leather finish. Consider the fact wherein your backside acts as a sanding block and the dirt as the sand paper. Grind it enough and you’ll grind the finish off, then it is important to remember that you’ll have the cracks and there will be more scope for the dirt to hide and it is important to remember the fact that you are on the down hill side of the vicious cycle of destruction. It is important to remember the fact that you are trying to remove the dirt from the leather upholstery and you are not rubbing the dirt in it. Use the vacuum cleaner to clean the dust that is build on top, it is important to remember the fact that a crevice tool will easily help you to get inside those tight areas around seams and so forth. For the purpose of cleaning it is important to remember the fact that you can use the several leather cleaners that are available in the market. It is important that you follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
