Rat Rod
What's a good rod choice when throwing 1/2oz lipless crankbaits, such as; rat-L-traps, redeye shads etc. ?
My choice would be a rod with a moderate to moderate fast action in medium heavy power, 6 1/2 to 7 feet in length. The moderate action will help from ripping the hooks out of the fishes mouth. A few examples would be:
