what do you do when your best friend moves 1000 miles away?
im 14 years old in 8th grade and my best friend is about to move 1000 miles away. literally. i dont know what im going to do. i feel like im going to die without her. if you only understand what good friends we are and how much she means to me. she says im the only reason she would stay, but she's still moving. there's nothing i can do about it, what do i do?
Your relationship is being put to the test. You need to stay friends with her and never forget about her and expect that she does the same in return. I had a similar experience my friend and I have been talking for 4 years since he moved I still talk over the phone maybe once every two months up until this point and visit him yearly and he also visits me once a year. By the time we get to college we're planning on rooming together. That's just a good example that proves your friendship doesn't have to come to an end. You're young and life has plenty more obstacles for you
